Chew Chow Chatterbox harnesses some of the unnoticed musical elements inherent in every dinner party, especially when musicians gather. Instrumentation: table and chairs, rice bowls and saucers, chop sticks, wine glasses, wine bottles, dinner gong, paper napkins, table cloth, candles in holders, box of matches.
The work was commisssioned in 1998 by Bromsgrove Concerts for Ensemble Bash with funds provided by the Arts Council of England.
