AEBERSOLD FOR EVERYONE

Eight complete arrangements correlate with selected tracks from Aebersold Play Along Volumes No.1 (How To Play Jazz), No.24 (Major and Minor) and No.88 (Millennium Blues).

Any and all wind and string players can practise these charts without a rhythm section using the Aebersold CDs. All the rhythm section parts are fully notated and include chord symbols.

Students can use these arrangements both on their own and with a teacher. All pieces are suitable for performance. Each part book includes a page of jazz patterns for music in major, minor and blues.

The Teacher's Guide/Score is designed for the person with little or no jazz or improvisation skills and includes a performance CD, extensive rehearsal suggestions, and "ideas for improv" for each piece.

The exact form and solo structure of the Aebersold recordings has been retained so students are able to practice using Jamey's Play Along tracks.
